When it comes to cooking, there are countless dishes and techniques to choose from, which can make it difficult to decide what to make. Nonetheless, my two favorite dishes to cook and compare are grilled chicken and pan-seared salmon. To grill the chicken, I start by marinating it for a few hours in a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt and pepper. I then heat my grill to medium-high heat and cook the chicken for about 6-8 minutes on each side until it is no longer pink in the middle. The result is juicy and tender chicken with beautiful grill marks on the outside. When it comes to pan-seared salmon, I start by seasoning it with salt and pepper, and then placing it skin-side down in a hot and oiled pan. I cook it on medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden brown, and then flip it over to cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side. The result is flaky and succulent salmon with crispy skin that adds a nice texture to the dish...

I let the sauce simmer on low heat for an hour which allows the flavors to meld together. In the meantime, I cook the lasagna noodles to al dente in a large pot of salted, boiling water. Once the noodles are cooked, I drain them and rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking process. Next, I combine ricotta cheese with an egg, grated parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. I also sauté a large bunch of spinach until it wilts a...
